Abstract: | The main objective of this project is improve quality of range and reduce congestion of power by increase of data around the Shopping Center Duran Outlet, therefore we proposed as a solution the addition of a Node B, this choice it’s focus for give a better use and distribution of power resources in Nodes B affected by congestion of high rate of data, also it should have present samples for Ec/Io - 12 dB and RSCP -88 dBm in Drive Test in 95%, all this process is divided in 3 stages. In stage 1, Network Planning takes place the KPI monitoring for transmitted control power (TCP) and traffic volume in all Nodes B in the Cluster of Duran City, these indicate the Nodes B which are having problems for then take the decision to add a Node B in the affected area. The stage 2, Initial Tuning the parameters in the Node B are checked through the Single Site Verification, verifying that all physical configurations are correct . Stage 3 going together with stage 2, called Optimization, here we analyze the tests of the drive test made in the Initial Tuning for then propose changes in antenna parameters for accomplishing the objective to offer a better quality of range in the area of the Shopping Center Duran Outlet. With the 3 stages successfully completed, the Node B is ready to provide all the services when is officially commercial and be able to comply with objectives initially proposed. |
