DESARROLLO E IMPLEMENTACIÓN DEL MÓDULO DE OPERACIONES DE UNA AGENCIA NAVIERA

Abstract

This document shows the analysis, development and implementation of the project module a shipping agency operations carried out in the company Remar SA, this is a company dedicated to providing agency services and freight logistics in Ecuador ports, it’s growth as a company and the great demand of services offered by both local and international shipping, have created the need for an integrated system that allows a single repository have the necessary information for decision making. The need to expand the coverage of services offered by the company in the local and international market as a shipping agent since joined Ultramar Network in 2010, make it analyze and evaluate the acquisition or development of an integrated system to system that is currently (Developed in Oracle DB with Oracle Forms). The importance of information management as a data stream according to cover all the needs of different areas that generate requirements for agency and for them to be treated in the shortest possible time, is the reason why it is needed an integrated system covering operational, logistical and financial processes of the company, allowing senior officers have business information on linef or decision making.
