Diseño estructural y de instalaciones de un polideportivo inclusivo en la ciudad de Quevedo

Abstract

The objective of this project is to design an inclusive sports center in the city of Quevedo, seeking to promote the physical and social well-being of the community. The need for an accessible space for children, youth and adolescents, aligned with safety and accessibility regulations, is justified. In the development of the project, materials such as steel and concrete were used, applying computer-aided design techniques and complying with the Ecuadorian Construction Standard (NEC). Dead and live load analyses were carried out, as well as a seismic analysis to ensure structural stability. The results showed that the designed structure met the safety and functionality requirements, achieving an aesthetically attractive and efficient design in maintenance. The conclusions indicate that the sports center is functional and safe, adapting to the needs of the community and ensuring its long-term operation, promoting social inclusion and equitable access to recreational activities.
