dc.description.abstract |
The present work deals with an alternative to ESPOL X1-D well present casing design. Having like main objective
to design a model where it will be possible to decrease casing and cement costs, but always prioritizing well´s
security .
Chapter 1 shows the well´s coordinates and characteristics, as well as their actual production and information of
sands producers. In chapter 2 briefly considers the drilling program used in well ESPOL X1-D indicating the bit
diameter and depth in each one of the sections. Chapter 3 shows the results obtained in the new casing design for
our well using the point neutral method for the accomplishment of the calculations and conditions that appear on
Amazonia Ecuadorian. Chapter 4 shows the results of the amount of cement, mixing barrels and necessary
displacement volumes for cementation in each one of the sections.
Finally, it shows the new casing design on a graphic. Also, a comparison is realized in costs of the actual and the
alternative casing design displayed on this report. |
