dc.description.abstract The fruit wines are a viable alternative for development of agro industry, as they give added value to the fruit, and open new markets to increase economic benefits. Besides making wine from fruit juices, guarantees the stability of the product at ambient temperatures reducing costs. In Ecuador, the fruit wine market is growing because there are companies that are focusing on the production and marketing of it, however these products are made based on chemicals, which removes the purity and flavor that always have characterized the wine. In Montalvo, province of Los Rios´s Canton, the wine is made from orange, and whose preparation is made on a small scale which results in a natural and organic wine. However, ignorance of the virtues, benefits and properties of this drink, plus the lack of a trademark, as well as the lack of requirements for the distribution and sale of the causes that demand for this product is scarce. The objective of this research is through investment, developing the craft of orange wine "San Marcos" as a product according to the rider and requirements demanded for the sale and consumption in the city of Guayaquil. At the same time position the brand as natural drink consumers in over 18 years of lower middle strata, thus obtaining economic benefits that enable sustainable and solid growth in the wine market. en
