Abstract:
This thesis presents the design and calculation of a system for treatment of exhaust gases from a hospital waste
incinerator exhausting into the atmosphere clean and low temperature gases.
The system consists of four stages: Combustion, Cooling, Purification and Output. The system´s components that
are designed are: Incinerator, Postcyclone,
Absorption Tower, Fireplace.
The design proposes a procedure to follow at this kind of incineration as well as the respective calculations to
be performed in each phase of the system.
