Abstract:
The following paper of the "Roads’ Rehabilitation Cruz Verde - Crucita" will provide the guidelines to
follow the quality control of the material for any road construction project with flexible pavement. This
practical case will cover each component of the pavement structure which are the imported borrow
material for sub grade, material with selected soil improvement, sub base, base and surface dressing.
In addition it will give the concepts of parameters which can control the quality of the material. It
shows the quality control of the process to be followed with the materials used in the different layers of
pavement and possible solutions in case of failure to fulfill the parameters set in the specifications.
Finally, we present the conclusions and recommendations inherent in research and experience gained
from the case study
