| dc.description.abstractenglish | There has been an increase in pollution in the different bodies of water in the world. In our country, the Guayas river basin is classified as the most important hydrographic center in Latin America, being a source of biological biodiversity, despite its natural resources. Has been affected by contamination of both industries and pollutants produced by human residences. It was proposed to analyze certain bioindicators organisms of water quality for the reason that they are sensitive and others tolerant to the contamination, the organisms of our study were: Baetidae, Chironomidae and Hydropsychidae, for that reason when finding a type of tolerant organism in a sector Will say that this area is potentially contaminated, making generalized logistic additive models to predict the absence and presence of these organisms in the different sampling areas proceeding to the analysis of each. It was determined that turbidity, temperature, total nitrogen, total dissolved solids, as well as soil use, flow variation, silt and cob-clay affect in the presence and absence of these organisms. At a lower nitrogen value, the higher the probability of Baetidae, the higher the dissolved solids increase the probability of Chironomidae, and the lower the temperature, current velocity and total nitrogen, the greater the probability of Hydropsychidae. In the areas below the Daule river there is a greater presence of Chironomidae, this indicates contamination in these sectors.
