DESARROLLO E IMPLEMENTACIÓN DE UN SISTEMA ACADÉMICO DIRIGIDO A INSTITUCIONES EDUCATIVAS

Abstract

This project describes different phases that were used in the development and deployment of an online academic system, named "Technological Solution" aimed to educational institutions in order to enable the educational community (teachers, students and parents) in order to use new technologies, promoting and encouraging its use as an educational resource; and share academic information (notes, attendance) and administrative (registration, data management staff, teachers and students). The project was deployed in March of 2013, at the City of Daule, Province of Guayas in the National Education Unit Daule, with benefits both teachers and students. The technological solution presented helps to reduce time records and to enhance interactivity between teachers and students concerning to how teaching registration are made, student enrollment, registration of attendance and grades. Installation and configuration of the network's headquarters "Multiservices" was performed, as well as the institution where they would use the system. The data is backed up on a central server and also in the educational unit in the Mirror Server. The results obtained in the project were desired, teachers can now record attendance and grades online as well as students and parents have access to view the data of students, both attendance and grades.
