Resumen:
In this paper we investigate about the commercial aviation field in our country as well as internationally, focused on the development and implementation of strategic alliances. Firstly we structured several concepts in order to situate people in context. Secondly we went through the beginning and the growing of this strategic tool and the behavior of the market now at days. Thirdly we did a comparison among different developed countries and with others with the same area. Finally we carry out a proposal of alliance to be applied with the Ecuadorian airlines in the route Guayaquil-Quito-Guayaquil.
