| es_EC |

The use of probiotics promotes the development of sustainable aquaculture, since it is an alternative to the use of antibiotics. Bacterial strains were isolated from sponges belonging to the genus Aplysina. Candidate bacteria were identified for probiotics belonging to the genus Pseudovibrio through the principle of competitive exclusion against pathogenic vibrios, and it is identified by classical biochemistry and molecular analysis (16 rDNA). 27% of the analyzed bacteria were bioactive against all the pathogens studied. Molecular analyzes show a predominance of the species Pseudovibrio denitrificans. In addition, the presence of ribosomal peptide synthetase (NRPS) was confirmed in 13 isolated strain |
