Aplicación de las normas ohsas 18000 en los servicios de seguridad eléctrica

Abstract

We operate in work environments where all of us are exposed to unavoidable risks, for this reason there was the necessity of implementing the OHSAS Standards. These standards are the baseline of safety and occupational health from an international viewpoint in order to establish a security and adequate occupational health policies for the different organizations. In this paper a white goods manufacturing company was analyzing being necessary to review both its legal and the regulatory requirements. In the implementing process of the OHSAS standards it is necessary to identify the risks, to define the objectives and programs to ensure the continuous improvement of occupational safety and health at work, to create strategies to control those risks, to monitor the system performance implemented and it is also indispensable to keep control of the safety and occupational health system performance through the examination, evaluation and continuous improvement. The aim of all of this process is to minimize the risks of the workers and other people who may be exposed.
