Diseño de un sistema de gestión de la calidad basado en la norma ISO 9001:2008 para una empresa que comercializa artículos de ferretería en la ciudad de Guayaquil

Abstract

The company under study, seeking to improve the performance of their processes and to gain an advantage over the other competitors, decided to implement a Quality Management System based on ISO 9001:2008, an international standard that gives guidance for continuous improvement and standardization of internal processes to all types of organizations. For this project, was developed a review of the concepts of a Quality Management System (QMS), a diagnosis of the current situation of the company, was determinated the compliance rate for all the clauses of the Standard and a SWOT analysis. The Design of the Quality Management System for the company was prepared according to the needs of the company and having a focus on the eight principles of quality.
