| dc.description | El presente documento presenta el estudio comparativo de dos sistemas de transmisión audio streaming, dando a conocer su funcionamiento y la composición de los mismos. La implementación de los sistemas se la realizo en una distribución del sistema operativo Linux, usando Icecast como servidor de transmisión de audio en vivo, Mixxx e IDJC como software fuente en cada uno de los sistemas y VLC como software cliente. De igual manera se realizaron las pruebas y mediante el uso del software Jperf se evaluaron las variables transferencia, ancho de banda, variación de retardo. Luego de las pruebas, se efectuó un análisis estadístico de las muestras para evaluar las variables que influyen en el comportamiento de un sistema de transmisión de audio en vivo, con dicho análisis se realizó un estudio comparativo de ambos sistemas evaluados por cada variable. | es_EC |
| dc.description.abstract | This document presents a comparative study of two streaming audio transmission systems, revealing its functioning and composition of them. The implementation of the systems is performed in a distribution of the Linux operating system, using Icecast streaming server as live audio, Mixxx and IDJC source software in each of the systems and VLC as client software. Similarly the tests were performed and using the software Jperf we evaluated the variables: transfer, bandwidth and jitter. After testing, a statistical analysis of samples was performed to evaluate the variables that influence the behavior of a live audio transmission system; with this analysis a comparative study of both systems evaluated for each variable was performed. | es_EC |
