Abstract

The present paper has as principal objective to develop a didactic tool of explanatory character, that allows telecommunication students and general society the understanding and comprehension, in a clear and easy way, of how the Power Control used in a system IS-95 CDMA works, to be applied in situations such as: interference between the agents that participate in the communication process and reduction of energy that CDMA mobile device use. Additionally, we develop an explicative video as a didactic tool that explains Power Control in IS-95 CDMA general concepts, with the purpose of explain in a simple, easy and less abstract way, the procedures used in this kind of systems, without letting apart the proper telecommunication terminology techniques used in this standard. We used the software Cinema 4D R14 for the creation and animation of the different graphic objects that are shown in the video. Analogously, we used Adobe Premier CS6 software for the audio and video edition.
