ESTUDIOS DE COORDINACIÓN DE LAS PROTECCIONES POR MÉTODOS COMPUTARIZADOS APLICADOS A LA CENTRAL GONZALO ZEVALLOS

Abstract

This project aims to make adjustments of protective equipment for the coordination of the Central Gonzalo Zevallos, namely, that is to say the operating limits or thresholds to detect faults, abnormal system conditions and equipment unwanted conditions. Also define the operating times of protection to allow properly prioritized performance of protective relays, minimizing the time for action and ensuring proper operation of all protection, both the main and backup. In order to perform this coordination must first know how the system works in normal operating conditions and of course failure or short circuit conditions. These studies were made using the "POWER WORLD". After obtaining the results, with "MICROSOF EXCEL" will proceed with the coordination of protective equipment and the results are displayed graphically and quantitatively.
