Abstract

Nowadays, the Laboratory of Electrical Networks at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science is the basis of the practical knowledge for most students at the faculty, but the use of the hardware and software resources is not optimal. That is why in this research we proposed to implement a new centralized remote system which is adaptable to current and future needs of the laboratory, in order to warranty a better use, easy operation and maintenance. Because this is the first laboratory that students take at the faculty level and considering the few technical expertise that they possess, the equipment and materials are susceptible to damage and misconfigurations, for these reasons the laboratory requires a system that increases network security involving data acquisition or generation, but at the same time allowing quick update and maintenance operations.
