In this work, an audit is conducted to a branch bank in a given period by applying basic audit techniques to determine the integrity, availability and confidentiality of information. The methodology includes the same steps that are in a financial audit, which covered from a complete knowledge of the business to the issuance of a report of the observations found with their respective recommendations. Additionally as an added value development is a small statistical analysis, which included determining the degree of satisfaction of current users to the system in use today and the importance and degree of acceptance that is migrating to a new system because it was found that the institution lacks the physical and logical security in the information that the departments managements, due to outdated systems they manage.en
