The objective of the following work is to develop the planning for the directional drilling of a well on the basis of information and data obtained from wells ESG-5, 6-ESG, ESG and ESG-7-10H. The planning began after the results from the development of a Stick Chart and a Pad Layout ESG, which is determined by the location where the drilling would take place. The importance of this project is to be aware of all the technical procedures that are involved in planning of directional wells. As a methodology, it will provide all the information from nearby wells to determine at first instance, a forecast of drilling and potential problems that may arise in it, as well as their prevention and possible solutions, recommended drilling procedures, among others in order to manage to get a packet of enough information to prepare a development plan of the well. In the second instance, it will begin to develop the planning of drilling with topics such as: design of the casing, directional drilling, drilling fluids, cementing, hydraulic calculations, cost estimates, and selection of the rig.en
