dc.description.abstractIn the last years, Ecuador has been inside a dilemma about signing or not a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with some countries. The main problem is under what kinds of conditions the FTA will be signed and what countries will be the best partners. This paper pretend to establish a choice patron of commerce with countries like Perú and Colombia, and then the research is extended to Brazil, China and United States. To achieve the objective of the research we have found the factor content of the Ecuadorian commerce with those countries, since 1990 to 2006. The factors analyzed were land, natural resources, skill labor and unskilled labor.en
