This work addresses the high energy demand in the poultry industry, particularly at Avícola San Isidro S.A. (AVISID), whose steam systems use on-site biogas generated from waste. However, the presence of CO2 in the biogas reduces its energy efficiency. The project aims to design a biogas enrichment method to generate steam more efficiently through the simulation of a Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) system using Aspen Plus and Aspen Adsorption V12.1® tools. This system will improve the biogas quality, reduce operational costs, and environmental impact. Separation methods such as amine scrubbing, PSA, and polymeric membranes were compared, and the simulation of the best method, a PSA system with silica gel as an adsorbent, was selected and replicated. A parametric study was conducted to demonstrate the effect of bed dimensions, cycle time, and product flow on methane purity and recovery percentages in the process. Subsequently, the system was sized for the study conditions, proposing a two-cycle PSA arrangement in series with results of biogas purity at 75.76% and methane recovery at 77.42%. Furthermore, steam generation relative to biogas cons-
