Description:	El presente proyecto se enfoca en la creación de un sendero ecoturístico en Cerro Azul, Guayaquil, con el objetivo de transformar sus recursos naturales en un atractivo turístico, promoviendo la preservación de los ecosistemas de bosques secos tropicales. Cerro Azul es entorno natural importante para Guayaquil, pero afectado por la contaminación ambiental. La falta de regulaciones de visita y la ausencia de infraestructura son parte de los factores que han causado el deterioro del ecosistema, amenazando su flora y fauna. Para afrontar esto, se aplicaron metodologías y herramientas como el Design Thinking, el Sistema de Manejo de Visitantes (SIMAVIS) y el manual de señalética para áreas protegidas del Ministerio de Ambiente, Agua y Transición Ecológica. Asimismo, se realizaron entrevistas a profundidad a expertos, grupos focales a usuarios y trabajo de campo en el sitio para comprender las necesidades de los visitantes y las del ecosistema. Como resultado se trazó la ruta óptima para los visitantes, adecuada con señalética acorde a sus expectativas y exigencias, además de buscar el menor impacto ambiental en el ecosistema y cumplir con los objetivos 3 ?Salud y Bienestar? y 15 ?Vida de Ecosistemas Terrestres? de Desarrollo Sostenible. Este proyecto no solo contribuye con la ampliación de la oferta de turismo de naturaleza en la ciudad de Guayaquil, sino que también forja las bases para una gestión responsable de los recursos, complementando las necesidades de recreación del visitante y la conservación de los ecosistemas. metadata.dc.description.abstractenglish:	This project focuses on the creation of an ecotourism trail in Cerro Azul, Guayaquil, with the aim of transforming its natural resources into a tourist attraction, promoting the preservation of tropical dry forest ecosystems. Cerro Azul is an important natural environment for Guayaquil but affected by environmental pollution. The lack of visiting regulations and the absence of infrastructure are part of the factors that have caused the deterioration of the ecosystem, threatening its flora and fauna. To address this, methodologies and tools such as Design Thinking, the Visitor Management System (SIMAVIS) and the signage manual for protected areas of the Ministry of the Environment, Water and Ecological Transition were applied. In-depth interviews with experts, focus groups with users, and fieldwork were conducted at the site to understand the needs of visitors and the ecosystem. As a result, the optimal route for visitors was traced, suitable with signage according to their expectations and demands, in addition to seeking the least environmental impact on the ecosystem and complying with Sustainable Development Goals 3 "Good Health and Wellbeing" and 15 "Life on Land". This project not only contributes to the expansion of the offer of nature tourism in the city of Guayaquil, but also forges the foundations for a responsible management of resources, complementing the recreation needs of the visitor and the conservation of ecosystems.
