Description:	El Alzheimer es una enfermedad neurodegenerativa que afecta principalmente la memoria de los pacientes y plantea desafíos únicos para sus cuidadores en sus vivencias diarias. La falta de información sobre esta cotidianidad contribuye a la creencia en mitos y estigmatización de la enfermedad que se traduce en una falta de empatía generalizada. El objetivo que tiene este proyecto de titulación es abordar la problemática del Alzheimer mediante un enfoque documental, respaldado por el simbolismo del color como herramienta narrativa principal. El documental se realizó con un enfoque cualitativo y se desarrolló en la ciudad de Guayaquil a través del análisis de entrevistas documentadas de forma audiovisual que permitió adentrarse a la perspectiva de las personas entrevistadas. Después de una realización de 4 meses que comprendieron las etapas de desarrollo, preproducción, producción y postproducción se obtuvo un documental de aproximadamente 16min de duración donde los cuidadores puntualizaron su compromiso para con sus familiares a pesar de que cada uno de ellos se enfrenta a diferentes desafíos que van más allá del cuidado del paciente. Finalmente se destaca la importancia de informar a la sociedad sobre la existencia de los síntomas tempranos, las opciones de tratamiento y los recursos disponibles para las personas con Alzheimer y para sus cuidadores. metadata.dc.description.abstractenglish:	Alzheimer's is a neurodegenerative disease that primarily affects patients' memory and presents unique challenges for caregivers in their daily lives. The lack of information about this everyday life contributes to the belief in myths and stigmatization of the disease that results in a general lack of empathy. The objective of this degree project is to address the problem of Alzheimer's disease through a documentary approach, supported by the symbolism of color as the main narrative tool. This documentary was made with a qualitative approach and was developed in the city of Guayaquil through the analysis of interviews documented in an audiovisual form that allowed to enter the perspective of the people interviewed. After 4 months of development that includes preproduction, production and post-production; a documentary of approximately 16 minutes in length was obtained, in which the caregivers emphasized their commitment to their relatives despite the fact that each of them faces different challenges that go beyond the care of the patient. Finally, the importance of informing society about the existence of early symptoms, treatment options and resources available for people with Alzheimer's and their caregivers is highlighted.
