dc.descriptionEl presente trabajo está orientado a crear una Unidad de Psiquiatría Forense, con la finalidad de cubrir la brecha existente en la atención de salud mental para los pacientes con problemas judiciales (PPJs). El objetivo principal de la investigación realizada en este trabajo es determinar las necesidades insatisfechas de este grupo vulnerable. En el Capítulo I, se presenta el objetivo general y los objetivos específicos, seguido por una descripción general de la Unidad de Psiquiatría Forense, en la que se incluye la misión, visión y valores. El Capítulo II corresponde al marco teórico, en el que se incluye el análisis del sector de negocio y la competencia. A continuación, se hace una caracterización del usuario potencial, delimitación del problema, y definición de la propuesta de valor para las PPJs y sus familiares. Adicionalmente, se presenta una proyección de la demanda y la propuesta de los aspectos básicos, que dan una imagen clara y convincente de la Unidad en mención. Todo el desarrollo de la propuesta se basa en las entrevistas realizadas a las PPJs, sus familiares y abogados penalistas. De la información recabada de estas entrevistas, se determinó las necesidades de los involucrados (PPJs) y se analizó el beneficio indirecto que la sociedad en general tendría al existir una Unidad de Psiquiátrica Forense. Esta Unidad es de ayuda clave para el Sistema Judicial, en la rehabilitación de personas con conductas violentas y que, al ser adecuadamente tratadas, ellas puedan ser retornadas a la sociedad, con mejor salud mental, capaces de convivir en armonía. En el Capítulo III, se abarcó las conclusiones y recomendaciones para la creación de la Unidad de Psiquiatría Forense.-

dc.description.abstractenglishThe present work is oriented to create a Forensic Psyquiatry Unit, with the purpose of filling the gap regarding mental health care for people deprived of liberty (PPJs). The main objective of research conducted in this work is to determine the unmet needs of this vulnerable group. In Chapter I, the general objective is presented as well as the specific objectives, followed by a general description of the Forensic Psychiatry Unit, in which the mission, vision and values are included. Chapter II presents the theoretical framework, in which an analysis of the business sector and the competition. Next, a characterization of the potential user is made, definition of the problem and the value proposition for the PPJs and their families. Additionally, an estimation of the demand and the proposal of the basic aspects are presented, which give a clear and convincing image of the Unit mentioned above. The entire development of the proposal is based on the interviews conducted to the PPJs, their families and criminal lawyers. With the information gathered from these interviews, the needs of the stakeholders (PPJs) were determined, and an analysis was performed with respect to the indirect benefit that society in general would have from having a Forensic Psychiatric Unit. This Unit is of great help for the Judicial System, in the rehabilitation of people with violent behaviors and that, when properly treated, they can be returned to society, with better mental health, capable of living together in harmony with others. In Chapter III, some conclusions and recommendations are presented for the creation of a Forensic Psychiatric Unit.-
