Description:	El presente proyecto responde a la creciente demanda de soluciones habitacionales en la ciudad de Portoviejo, buscando satisfacer las necesidades de seguridad estructural y eficiencia en el uso de los recursos. Este enfoque no solo asegura la integridad de la construcción, sino también promueve el uso sostenible de los materiales y tecnologías. Se realizó una investigación secundaria junto con la recopilación de documentos propios de ensayos de suelo y detalles arquitectónicos del área del proyecto. Además, se empatizó con los requerimientos del cliente mediante entrevistas en las que el diseñador arquitectónico estuvo presente permitiendo así la definición de los criterios fundamentales para la selección de las alternativas de diseño más adecuadas. Tras la selección de la alternativa estructural e hidrosanitaria se prototiparon bosquejos de los sistemas diseñados y se los validaron con la participación de expertos técnicos y del cliente en donde sus recomendaciones fueron esenciales para la elaboración de los diseños y planos definitivos. Finalmente, la vivienda con un costo de aproximado de USD $50 217 (USD $190/?2 ) incluye una estructura de hormigón armado y sistema hidrosanitario que minimiza el consumo de agua y asegura una adecuada gestión de los residuos en concordancia con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenibles de infraestructuras resilientes. metadata.dc.description.abstractenglish:	This project addresses the growing demand for housing solutions in the city of Portoviejo, aiming to meet the needs for structural safety and resource efficiency. This approach not only ensures the integrity of the construction but also promotes the sustainable use of materials and technologies. Secondary research was conducted, along with the collection of relevant documents, including soil test reports and architectural details specific to the project area. Furthermore, the client's requirements were met through interviews attended by the architectural designer, enabling the definition of fundamental criteria for selecting the most suitable design alternatives. After selecting the structural and sanitary design alternative, sketches of the designed systems were prototyped and validated with the participation of technical experts and the client, whose recommendations were essential for the development of the final designs and plans. Finally, the house, with an approximate cost Of USD $50,217 (USD $190/m²), includes a reinforced concrete structure and a sanitary system that minimizes water consumption and ensures proper waste management in line with the Sustainable Development Goals for resilient infrastructures.
