Description:	Para alcanzar las metas de desarrollo sostenible ODS 6 (Agua Limpia y Saneamiento) planteados por la ONU, las empresas que brindan servicios de agua potable y alcantarillado enfrentan desafíos importantes con respecto a los estándares de servicio y calidad consistentes. En el logro de estos objetivos, es importante que las empresas operen de manera eficiente y gestionen estratégicamente, por lo que, existen algunos desafíos en la gestión operativa y comercial de los servicios de agua potable, lo que requiere un compromiso muy estricto por parte del proveedor del servicio. La empresa pública Empresa Municipal de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado de Riobamba EP EMAPAR busca lograr un impacto socioeconómico positivo de sus inversiones y proyectos a través de la prestación eficiente de los servicios. Se proponen acciones de mejora en la gestión comercial y operativa del sector Y-2 de la red de agua potable Yaruquíes, relacionadas con temas centrados en el modelo de gestión de captación, conducción, distribución y la necesidad de inversión para mejorar la prestación de servicios. Al mismo tiempo, la integración del sistema informático permite ejecutar comandos e informes en tiempo real. Ante esta situación se requieren tomar medidas y desarrollar acciones que lleven a una mayor eficiencia y control en el servicio de abastecimiento de agua potable del sector, garantizando una adecuada gestión de la infraestructura, el uso eficiente del agua como recurso y la transformación del vínculo de confianza de la gestión integral de la EP EMAPAR. metadata.dc.description.abstractenglish:	To achieve the sustainable development goals SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) set by the UN, companies that provide drinking water and sewerage services face significant challenges with respect to consistent service and quality standards. In achieving these objectives, it is important that companies operate efficiently and manage strategically, therefore, there are some challenges in the operational and commercial management of drinking water services, which requires a very strict commitment on the part of the service provider. The public company Empresa Municipal de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado de Riobamba EP EMAPAR seeks to achieve a positive socioeconomic impact of its investments and projects through the efficient provision of services. Actions are proposed to improve the commercial and operational management of the Y-2 sector of the Yaruquíes drinking water network, related to issues focused on the management model of catchment, conduction, distribution and the need for investment to improve the provision of services. At the same time, the integration of the computer system allows to execute commands and reports in real time. Faced with this situation, it is necessary to take measures and develop actions that lead to greater efficiency and control in the drinking water supply service of the sector, guaranteeing adequate management of the infrastructure, the efficient use of water as a resource and the transformation of the bond of trust of the integral management of the EP EMAPAR.
