Description:	El estudio sobre el diseño de un catálogo turístico de los árboles del Cementerio General de Guayaquil es fundamental para resaltar la importancia ecológica y cultural de estas especies en un entorno urbano en deterioro del medio ambiente. El área de estudio carece de investigación e inventario de los árboles que se encuentran en el cementerio, además de ser calificado como patrimonio cultural de la ciudad. El objetivo principal de crear una herramienta que promueva la valorización y visibilidad de este espacio verde, contribuyendo a la educación ambiental y al turismo sostenible en el Cementerio. Las metodologías que aplican en el estudio incluyen investigación primaria y segundaria, abarcando enfoques cualitativos y cuantitativos, la realización de un inventario de los árboles, recopilación de fotografías, diagramación de la información, validación del catálogo con expertos y el público objetivo. Como resultado principal, se presenta el catálogo que además de solo informa sobre las especies arbóreas presentes en el cementerio, también propone la adición de la temática a las rutas turística para fomentar el aprecio por el patrimonio natural y cultural de la urbe, incentivando así la conservación de estos ecosistemas vitales. metadata.dc.description.abstractenglish:	The study on the design of a tourist catalog of the trees in the General Cemetery of Guayaquil is essential to highlight the ecological and cultural importance of these species in an urban environment deteriorating due to environmental issues. The study area lacks research and inventory of the trees found in the cemetery, in addition to being classified as a cultural heritage site of the city. The main objective is to create a tool that promotes the appreciation and visibility of this green space, contributing to environmental education and sustainable tourism in the Cemetery. The methodologies applied in the study include primary and secondary research, encompassing qualitative and quantitative approaches, the creation of an inventory of trees, the collection of photographs and the diagramming of information, and the validation of the catalog with experts and the target audience. As the main result, the catalog is presented, which not only informs about the tree species present in the cemetery but also proposes the addition of this theme to tourist routes to foster appreciation for the city's natural and cultural heritage, thereby encouraging the conservation of these vital ecosystems.
