Diseño de material gráfico literario ecuatoriano de apoyo académico para estudiantes de la carrera de Educación Inicial

Abstract

This project focuses on the development of a graphic repository entitled Tullpu, designed to support students studying Early Childhood Education in the subject of Children's Literature. Its main objective is to provide accessible and culturally relevant visual resources that strengthen their academic training. The hypothesis considers that the absence of local graphic resources limits their performance, so the creation of a repository aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 4 promotes inclusive and equitable quality education. For its development, mood boards and sketches were created, and fonts, color palettes, and proposals were selected. The design process was complemented by interviews, surveys, and focus groups that allowed the material to be validated with its target audience. The final results consisted of a set of illustrative resources, a manual of recommendations, and mockups for possible applications. The results showed that the visual material created was effective in reinforcing the cultural identity of the project, while also being technically adaptable for academic use. It is concluded that this project is a functional and innovative tool that bridges the gap between design and education, promoting creativity and cultural relevance in educational contexts.
