Estructuración de esquema de operaciones para los mediadores del maac

Abstract

The MAAC is a cultural space of the Banco Central del Ecuador opened in 2004, mainly exhibits collections of art and antiquities. The present work aims to improve the image of the MAAC to its visitors, through the definition of a new scheme of operations for mediators to allow appropriate handling of the visits in relation to this area, using technical and administrative tools. For this purpose it was necessary to diagnose the management system of visits, organize and assign roles for mediators in the workspace based on operational needs and in accordance with the flow of visitors, as well as decreasing mediators’ leisure time during work hours, assigning specific areas and specific - permanent functions. This scheme was developed to complement and enhance the operational scheme previously used, stablishing an operational model that commands mediators to be in permanent contact with visitors and execute defined responsibilities everytime.
