| dc.description | Los retos nutricionales en pacientes afectados con VIH/SIDA, son diversos debido al impacto que tienen los antirretrovirales en el estado nutricional, y las complicaciones características de enfermedad. Este proyecto tiene como objetivo general diseñar un manual de cuidados nutricionales dirigido a pacientes recién diagnosticados con VIH/SIDA mediante el análisis de la información recolectada para el abordaje de aspectos que mejoren la calidad de vida. Se conoce que existen manuales relacionados a esta patología, pero orientados al personal de salud y no tanto al paciente, por esto se busca mediante este manual fortalecer los sistemas de información de los hospitales dados a los pacientes. Para el desarrollo del proyecto se realizó una encuesta y mediante el uso de herramientas como Google Forms y Rstudio se determinó los temas abordados en el manual. Además de esto, se consideró la revisión bibliográfica pertinente, tomando en cuenta que en el manual el lenguaje usado fue sencillo. En conclusión, el manual de recomendaciones nutricionales ?NUTRIVIH/SIDA?, no solo busca brindar orientación nutricional, sino que busca apoyar y empoderar a los pacientes. Además, el impacto positivo de la socialización del manual se refleja en la retroalimentación recibida de los participantes, quienes han expresado un mayor interés. | dc.description.abstractenglish | The nutritional challenges in patients with HIV/AIDS are diverse due to the impact of antiretroviral drugs on nutritional status and the characteristic complications of the disease. The general objective of this project is to design a nutritional care manual for patients recently diagnosed with HIV/AIDS by analyzing the information collected to address aspects that improve the quality of life. It is known that there are manuals related to this pathology, but they are oriented to the health personnel and not so much to the patient, that is why this manual seeks to strengthen the information systems of the hospitals given to the patients. For the development of the project, a survey was conducted and by using tools such as Google forms and Rstudio, the topics addressed in the manual were determined. In addition to this, the pertinent bibliographic review was considered, taking into account that the language used in the manual was simple. In conclusion, the nutritional recommendations manual "NUTRIVIH/AIDS", not only seeks to provide nutritional guidance, but also to support and empower patients. In addition, the positive impact of the socialization of the manual is reflected in the feedback received from the participants, who have expressed greater interest.
