Resumen : Titanium for biocompatibility properties are used in many surgical implants. When this rest on the human body, it must prevent the release of ions into the surrounding tissue and to remains fixed. For this it was decided to graft the amine to the metal surface to bind with proteins in the body, using two coating techniques: Electrografting and Self-Assembly. In the first technique used cyclic voltammetry parameters, various solvents and types of electrolytes. In self-assembly was chosen two types of depositions, silanization and deposition of dopamine. Besides stability studies were made simulating a physiological environment with a solution of PBS and the interaction of the amine with a biopolymer to simulate the body's proteins that bind to the surface of titanium. We performed several characterization techniques such as SEM, AFM, EDS, etc., to prove the surface modification of titanium. The technique achieves better results was the self-assembly.
