Abstract

The following article presents the design of a controller using the Arduino system for positioning the three dimensional printing head in a platform of free hardware and software, based on a board with a microcontroller and an environment of Arduino development, presenting in detail the tools to be used for the description and the implementation of the project with its corresponding block diagrams, explaining step by step the functioning of each of the components. Trials and simulations will be done for the corresponding analysis based on the results obtained in the different stages. The corresponding configurations and modifications shall be done, which will be necessary to calibrate de positioning system of the 3D printer.
