Análisis del estándar de televisión digital terrestre brasileño

Abstract

This work is a comprehensive and rigorous analysis of the digital terrestrial television standard adopted by our country Brazilian (Ecuador), in studying this standard we refer especially to the reception and transmission characteristic. We begin with the concept of digital terrestrial television, advantages, disadvantages and characteristics that makes it different from other systems also taken as reference for the use of radio spectrum in the National Frequency Plan Effective granted by Mintel (Department of Telecommunications), presents the structure of the system appropriately for study since these steps are important to the transmission from the terrestrial antenna distribution comparison coding achieving both video and audio from the viewpoint of compression levels, handling of objects and error correction. It shows the benefits of using OFDM for digital transmission, types of networks, equipment costs for this system, making software and applications running in the receivers.
