dc.description.abstractThe implementation of technology in organizations optimizes processes efficiently, this is the reason why this project proposes the use of an information system as a tool, which will improve the flow of information; in this way it contributes to improve the production process, automating standard operating procedures and have greater control over decision-making. This project proposes the analysis of an information system for the supply chain management to produce flour of wheat in the Guayaquil city taking like an example to the Molinos S.A. Company, producer of flour of wheat. It will be evaluated the internal and external environment, the supply chain management and the technology infrastructure of Molinos S.A. in order to determinate the keys factors that involve in the use of an integrated system for the supply chain administration. Molinos S.A. company, across of an integrated system for the supply chain management, could optimize all its business processes with a SCM software decreasing its information flows problems and at the same time optimization of the consumed time to deliver the final product to the customer at the correct moment and place.es_EC
