Description:	Este proyecto integrador está dirigido a diseñar un plan de ordenamiento turístico territorial (POTT), que sirve de instrumento para desarrollar el ?Nuevo Samborondón?; además, que permita a los visitantes reales y potenciales realizar actividades turísticas dentro del polígono territorial. El proyecto surge de la carencia de un proceso de planificación turística que permita aprovechar los recursos turísticos. Por eso, la propuesta permitirá el diagnóstico de la realidad turística actual del territorio; identificar el perfil de visitante potencial; y validar el prototipo. Para esto, se implementaron herramientas de Planificación Turística y Design Thinking, que aportaron importantes hallazgos, como: pese a la carencia de vocación turística, el territorio tiene aptitud territorial para el desarrollo de la actividad turística; la percepción de la comunidad local con respecto al turismo es baja, pero presenta una tendencia a convertirse en positiva empleando estrategias; y perfil de visitantes potenciales. El plan constituye la primera fase del proyecto, y servirá para el desarrollo, implementación y monitoreo a mediano plazo. Además, de identificar recursos turísticos, la percepción local y plantear desafíos como la identificación de mejoras para obtener vocación turística del territorio. También, presenta las directrices para la creación de experiencias turísticas, que cubran las necesidades del visitante. metadata.dc.description.abstractenglish:	This integrated project is aimed at designing a territorial tourism management plan (POTT), which serves as an instrument to develop the "New Samborondón"; in addition, it allows actual and potential visitors to carry out tourism activities within the territorial polygon. The project arises from the lack of a tourism planning process to take advantage of tourism resources. Therefore, our proposal will allow the diagnosis of the current tourism reality of the territory; identify the profile of potential visitors; and validate the prototype. For this, Tourism Planning and Design Thinking tools were implemented, which provided important findings, such as: despite the lack of tourism vocation, the territory has territorial aptitude for the development of tourism activity; the perception of the local community regarding tourism is low, but presents a tendency to become positive by employing strategies; and the profile of potential visitors. The plan is the first phase of the project and will be used for development, implementation and monitoring in the medium term. In addition, it identifies tourism resources, local perceptions, and poses challenges such as the identification of improvements to obtain the territory's tourism vocation.
