| Description: | En el Ecuador el 80% de los pacientes con ERC sufren de trastornos digestivos que pueden llegar a ser incontrolables debido al desconocimiento, esta enfermedad causa cambios en su calidad de vida, lo que disminuye su nivel de autoeficacia que está asociada con el autocuidado de la enfermedad. El objetivo de este presente proyecto es ayudar a los pacientes de REYNADIAL a tener autoeficacia y empoderar su decisión frente a los síntomas digestivos más comunes identificados, desencadenados por la gastroparesia diabética, mediante talleres dinámicos enfocados en un aprendizaje basado en problemas. Y como medio principal esta la elaboración de una guía especializada y socializada con estos talleres. Se tomaron en cuenta 17 pacientes de ambos sexos del centro de diálisis, los resultados de la demostraron que el 100% de los pacientes sufren de trastornos digestivos entre esos están diarrea, estreñimiento, llenura temprana, náuseas y vómitos. Para conocer la efectividad de la intervención, se realizó la prueba de Wilcoxon donde los resultaron mostraron cambios significativos con respecto a los conocimientos, prevención y acciones a tomar frente a estos síntomas identificados, por lo que, implementar estrategias donde se empoderen al paciente es una herramienta poderosa para mejorar su calidad de vida. | metadata.dc.description.abstractenglish: | In Ecuador, 80% of patients with CKD suffer from digestive disorders that can become uncontrollable due to lack of knowledge, this disease causes changes in their quality of life, which decreases their level of self-efficacy that is associated with self-care of the disease. The objective of this project is to help REYNADIAL patients to have self-efficacy and empower their decision in front of the most common digestive symptoms identified, triggered by diabetic gastroparesis, through dynamic workshops focused on problem-based learning. And as the main means is the elaboration of a specialized and socialized guide with these workshops. Seventeen patients of both sexes from the dialysis center were considered, the results of which showed that 100% of the patients suffer from digestive disorders including diarrhea, constipation, early fullness, nausea, and vomiting. To determine the effectiveness of the intervention, the Wilcoxon test was performed, where the results showed significant changes with respect to knowledge, prevention, and actions to be taken with respect to these identified symptoms, so that implementing strategies where the patient is empowered is a powerful tool to improve their quality of life.
