Abstract

Wood is a natural resource that has been used by man since early times. In my country, the wood, for its characteristic properties is a material used in many purposes such as constructing buildings, furniture, craft items, wood flooring, coating roof, walls, and a number of things. These products require high quality and low cost. Therefore, in this thesis topic was the design of a machine planer rabbet-powered semi-automatic, so this machine does not exist in domestic production and come from countries where there are additional avenues for industrial development In other words, they are imported machines, which can transform a single table, in tables with several polished and precise moldings, whose purpose is to save material, labor and space configuration. The design of this machine were multiple alternatives obtained excellent results, particularly to have an economic machine, versatile, simple and easy to maintain without neglecting the safety of it, this will satisfy the user demand and thus contributes in this way, the industrial development of the country.
