DISEÑO E IMPLEMENTACIÓN DE UNA APLICACIÓN WEB COMO SISTEMA DE ADMINISTRACIÓN Y DE CONTROL ACADÉMICO PARA EL CENTRO DE EDUCACIÓN BÁSICA Nº 22 ROSA PAZMIÑO DE GUEVARA

Abstract

In this paper, the design of a web system called " SYSCA" is presented, which aims to automate and improve the processes management and control of the student’s performance of Center Education Basic Nº22 “Rosa Pazmiño de Guevara”. SYSCA overcomes the problem originated due to changes in the educational system emerged in 2011 from the obligation to deliver to parents the respective reports of student achievement. By providing the system with a design that facilitates the handling of the information required eliminating licensing costs to be implemented with open source technologies and open source , being accessible and adaptable to any educational institution . This system has been designed with the Client Server architecture and MVC design model, developed with the framework CodeIgniter. MySQL was used for the storage and management of data. For reporting of Learning has been used PHPExcel library
